Above and Beyond

I have been a resident for almost a year now. When I arrived I was blown away at the beauty of the property. The place had recently went under new management and I have noticed that the management is truly doing what they can to make this property a very comforting property for me and everyone living here. I recently had a very tough personal situation come up and had to make a special request. It was out of the up most courtesy that the request was honored. It's actions such as this make me as a resident feel like I'm cared for as more than just as a resident but as a person. Some people stand out to show they care and the management and staff here are some of those people. Give this place a chance and you will see.

My Favourite Place

I have only lived here a few months; but it has been an extremely positive experience. The staff is wonderful! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It is quiet and peaceful here and has the ambience of a small town. Maintainance is very responsive. I have lived in several so-called luxury apartments; but this is by far my favourite place.

I'm used to moving...but...

I'm not one for deep roots and somehow I just renewed my 10th lease here. I appreciate the effort and responsiveness of this management team -- I hope the owners don't flip it like the last ones did (and hope the city water issues are soon fixed!) It's nice and quiet and when it happens that someone moves their noise scene here it is nipped in the bud seemingly overnight. No crime that I'm aware of, nice neighbors and, if you're lucky with a 2nd floor South or West facing unit, great sun and privacy. All-in-all a 5!

Great Place to Call Home

I love my apartment, am in my fifth one-year lease. Would like to stay on here for as long as my fixed income allows, hate moving. Location is great, the grounds are wonderful for dog walking, I feel safe. During my time, there have been many staff and management changes...hoping it is stable for a while. Tony in the leasing office has been my go-to person for this past year or so, especially hope he stays. I find that issues with my apartment are addressed in a timely manner and the maintenance staff always friendly and polite. My only downside is my apartment is right on the pool, which I would not choose again, and wish I had one with parking closer to my door as I have to use a cane. When I moved in, I needed an apartment that same week, so I grabbed what was ready to go. But overall, I do love being in my apartment.

I Came Back

New owners are wonderful leasing agents are awesome ! I live here 4 years ago and the people who were there then couldn't wait to leave thought I would never come back but I did !!!! Now I have been here for 6 months and I am very happy added bonus they are getting ready to do more remodeling to the place glad to call it home!

Peace and Quiet

In all fairness, the retreat at Candelaria is the best place to live. If you need a conducive, quiet place to be, if you are a scholar that needs quietness, if you are at home with nature, just head to the apartment. I am a witness.

Incredible New Staff

I am currently living here going on 8 months and I can definitely say that this is the place I want to set down some roots. The only complaint I would have is that there isn't enough parking, besides that the new staff is incredibly flipping around from what it was, and the scenery is breathtaking at times when it snows or on a nice sunny day I cant imagine being anywhere else.

Love the New Management

I have lived here for almost 2 years and was not planning on renewing my lease this summer due to the previous management of the property. They didn't care about the residents or taking care of the work that needs to be done on/to the property. Since the new owners and property management have come in, I have seen a shift in the way things are being done. I am finally having a much needed work order done, the office staff is responsive and have been professional any time I have called or gone in to the office. Tony is great, always professional and personable as is Monica. I have not yet worked with Josh but I'm sure he's great. I have also spoken with management and these ladies have both been professional and willing to assist me with whatever I need. The new maintenance crew is also awesome! I will definitely be renewing my lease and plan on staying a while.

Beyond Expectations

I have worked in the apartment industry for close to 20 yrs. I like to keep my work and home life seperate so when I found myself in a position needing an apartment I started shopping....A LOT. Needless to say I have high expectations when it comes to service. Josh was incredibly welcoming, professional and attentive. After we took a tour I took the time to walk around myself. I walked the entire property. The grounds are stunning and clean and it was very quiet. A resident even stopped me to see if I needed anything so I asked her if she enjoyed living there. She has lived there for several years and had nothing but good things to say. I was sold. Thanks Josh for helping me find my new home. I can't wait to move in. A word of caution: please take negative reviews with a grain of salt. Having worked in this industry for so long I know first hand that 75% of the negative reviews are from disgruntled, less than respectable residents who more than likely violated their lease agreement in one way or another. Go see for yourself how great of a place this really is!!!
